Hey, it's Violet and I'm coming to you from the past. That's right, this is a scheduled post ;) I am probably off somewhere photographing the bride getting ready. I can't even fathom how beautiful a japanese wedding is going to be!
I thought I would share a couple pictures taken a few months back during a trip to Ohio with the family. On our way out of Cincinnati, we stopped by some Bass Pro shop something-or-another place and me and my mom of course went to explore the mall next door. To our utter surprise, it was pretty much a ghost town. I believe there were less than 5 stores actually open and this is a HUGE mall. Really beautiful too. I rarely see two story malls like this one. Such a shame that it has died.
We spotted a few people here and there. Mostly just walking for excercise I would assume. It was just creepy. I love malls. I love busy places. And abandoned areas like this just give me the creeps. I felt like we could have been attacked in a little corner and no one would have noticed. But the place did make for some great photo-ops!
Shortly after taking these pictures of eachother (me and my mom), a man on a little segway told us we couldn't take pictures in the mall....because I'm sure there are just tons of people that would care, right?!? So silly.
Creepfest. Are there any abandoned areas around that you like to visit? There are a lot of spots in Indy and quite a few abadoned malls around us.
Anyways, that's all for today. Hope you have been enjoying the guest posts so far! I already can't wait to share pictures from Japan.
