When I was a bit younger, before I started this blog, I was really into Flickr and dolls and taking pictures of my dolls and staring at other people's dolls and so on and so forth. I put a lot of time into my Flickr and established a lot of friendships through photography and dolls. So much so that it inspired me to start this lifestyle blog. There were always things I wanted to share on Flickr and would share, but I wanted a sense of organization and a place that was my own. It may seem that I'm over my whole "Blythe doll" phase but I assure you, I'm not. I might not have as much time to play with them and drool over new ones, but I love them just the same. I know it's silly and a lot of people make fun of me for it, but hey, it makes me happy, they're cute and everytime I get one, I get the mental image of my future daughters admiring and playing with them as well. At least I hope so. They are generally pretty expensive so I don't have a lot, but I don't think I ever want a lot. I don't want them to lose their charm.
With all that said, I got a new doll recently and she is a TBL Blythe, AKA a FAKE. I knew she was though...she was WAY too cheap to be real. But she's still quite lovely and I really can't wait to start customizing her. Probably once the summer winds down a bit and I have more free time on my hands. She's a cutie and her translucent skin is my favorite.
