Introducing a new member to our family, Cloud!

We've had Cloud in our home for a few weeks now. A few very stressful weeks and gosh has he been a handful. I was well aware of what an adjustment it would be introducing a husky puppy into our home especially already having our tiny Marshmallow, but there was some unexpected bumps along the way including finding out this sweet boy had Parvo only days after getting him. He had his first round of shots, but apparently isn't 100% covered until he's had his second round and so treatment began. Very expensive treatment I might add, but it was worth it. After being hospitalized for a few days, he was able to come home to us bouncing and eating like a happy puppy should.

He's a big baby and such a sweet addition to our family. So thankful for him and his quick recovery. Training has been rough at times but we are taking it one day at a time and celebrating all the improvements. He's a real sweetheart and despite Marshmallow being completely uneasy with him and slightly aggressive, he doesn't seem to hate her one bit. He's just big and much more rambunctious than her so when he wants to "play" Marshmallow prepares to defend her life! One day at a time. Baby steps.

Hello Cloud! I love the mix of one little dog and one (soon to be quite big) dog! I hope he is all better, or at least on the mend... and that Marshmallow settles soon too! I imagine it must be a bit of a change for her but hopefully they'll be the best of friends in no time. I think dogs are more accommodating to new family members than cats are. I can't imagine my cat taking too well if we were to bring a kitten into her territory haha...
