Over and over I hear about the hundreds of benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar. I do watered down shots of it when my acid reflux is bothering me, it's great for your hair, for cooking, for salad dressings, cures a multitude of ailments and is an overall miracle liquid. So of course it works miracles for your skin. I am big on washing my face every night and every morning and using toners to keep it clean and less oily. But now, I am using a more natural toner after I scrub my face and this one is a super simple recipe.
You will need:
Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar (or raw, unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar of another brand)
A strong brew of green tea
Tea tree oil
Ok, here's where it gets really easy. Find the jar you are using to hold your toner and then begin adding equal parts of apple cider vinegar and green tea. I brewed a strong cup with 2 green tea bags. You could pour in 1/4 cups at a time of both liquids. Then top it all off with 3-5 drops of tea tree oil. Shake and you're done! Now after you have washed and removed any makeup off your face (my very favorite face wash is St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub), pour a small amount on a cotton ball and begin rubbing it on your cheeks, forehead, nose, etc. Just be sure not to rub too close to your eyes. Now let the magic of green tea and apple cider vinegar do it's work!
Apple cider vinegar is my favourite! I drink it with water everyday and it helps me digest my food. When I have dandruff I rinse a diluted ACV and it's soo good! Will have to try this as well :)

I'll have to try this out - ACV is so crazy useful! I too, am a fan of the apricot scrub - I've been using it for years.
