These past couple weeks have been incredibly stressful and busy. A lot of work, a lot to keep up with, places to be, etc. and it's taken a slight mental toll on me. I am desperately in need of some down time with my husband. Thankfully, November brings a slight break in the busy season of photography for me. I LOVE taking pictures, but it's nice to take a break and rest occassionally. Not too long of a break though because December is weddings and travelling out West. It's going to be a busy Christmas this year! It's good that I will have November to get me pumped and inspired again. Even a week without photography and my hands get antsy. All this talk about getting a break, but I know I will just be stir-crazy for photos and itching for something to shoot! Haha!
This past weekend was also a busy one! I spent a lot of time with family from out of town, hung out with my friends on Sunday evening, went to an art show and went to a birthday dinner on Friday (where I wore the outfit above). A lot of running around, but it was all wonderful.
I received this totally gorgeous and dainty white shirt from Choies last week and I was so anxious to share it with you all. The weather has been so flip floppy so I really didn't know how I would wear it. I didn't want it to be totally covered up in layers due to the cold, but I also couldn't get by with the lace sleeves. That's when I tried this thrifted collared top below the white top to give me some extra warmth. It definitely wasn't a super cold night so this outfit worked out perfectly!
I styled it with some thrifted jeans and my new Black Belaria Oxfords from Le Bunny Bleu. First off, these shoes are awesome because they can be, in essence, two different shoes. See that top layer of gems and bling? That can snap right off revealing a basic black laced oxford shoe. They are pretty much the coolest shoes ever. I'm quite smitten....
To top it off, I got to wear my new Home Is Where the Heart Is Necklace from Truche and it's been around my neck ever since. I LOVE Stevie's line of necklaces from Etsy! She has the most gorgeous designs, one being her original United States necklaces with heart shaped cut outs for the city! My favorite is obviously the I Heart Indiana necklace.
BIG thank you to Choies, Le Bunny Bleu and Truche for collaborating with me on today's outfit post!
