Kitty & Buck is a place for me to be creative outside of my profession as a graphic designer, I share my thoughts and inspirations on creative living, photography, books, travel, and life in general. Sometimes I just post silly pictures of my cats too!

1. Current Favorite Movie or TV show?  The last show I watched that I really enjoyed was Les Revenants, a French TV show about a small mountain village where people who have died are suddenly returning to their loved ones as though nothing has happened.
2. What's your favorite place to vacation or relax? That's a tough one! My most recent trip to Japan has me all excited about going back there. As far as relaxing, I'd probably like to hang out by the ocean or a nice lake to read and walk. That sounds pretty perfect to me. One place that seemed perfect for that was Florala in Alabama!
3. If you had a $10,000 gift card to any store, where would it be? Um... that's a whole lot of money. I suppose I'd say Etsy, does that count? That way I could probably furnish my house and buy a tonne of gifts for people while supporting handmade and small business, which is really important to me :)

Banana Muffins Recipe

Hello everybody! Today I came home to three very ripe bananas, so I decided it was time for some banana bread muffins.  I like banana bread because it always seems to be a spontaneous recipe for me; I make it whenever our bananas are getting to ripe. A few things I really liked about this recipe that I found were the muffin style and the chocolate chips that were added in.  So I hope the next time you see those bananas getting a little icky you will make these yummy muffins!

Ingredients:

• 3 ripe bananas
• 2/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups flour
• 3 tablespoons milk
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:

1.   First mash your bananas with a fork.

2.   Then add in your vegetable oil, sugar and vanilla.

3.   In a separate bowl mix together baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour.

4.   Add in the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

5.   Finally add in the milk and the chocolate chips.

6.   Scoop the mixture evenly into 12 muffin tins.

7.   Bake at 350 for 20-24 minutes.
