As most of you know, I had the great honor of photographing a wedding in Japan at the end of September. This wedding was the stuff of dreams and the bride and groom couldn't have been more beautiful together. There were so many new traditions at this wedding...like the groom tossed a head of broccoli at the reception instead of a garder! They did all of their pictures before the wedding (which I will say is the ONLY way to go these days) and the reception was very family oriented with speeches and dedications, singing, and lots of fun entertainment. And her dress......oh geez. I teared up upon seeing it. She switched into a red dress during the reception, as you will see below!
The trip was utterly amazing and I am so thrilled to share the photos with you all today.

As you said, that dress is magical but the cake is something worth noting as well. Wow! You just don't see weddings like this in the states (at least that's been my experience).

What a dreamy wedding. They picked such a great location. I love the long white aisle. That shot is very neat. They are all wonderful. I LOVE the photos of you two. Such a real moment. You guys look so adorable side by side with cameras. :) You did a great job.
