Winter fashion inspiration

I am so in love with the black color trend wave for winter. While I was in Japan, black was EVERYWHERE and I was told that it would be the color of the winter. 2 months later, every store was full of it. Even my husband noticed and remembered!

I have been raiding my closet lately just trying to make new things out of old clothes...trying new combinations, new layering, etc. etc. I wanted to make a little board of my fashion inspiration lately. What new trends have you been inspired by?

I'm keeping it simple this winter: also loving the trend toward black because it looks good on everyone and coordinates so easily. I guess I'm trying to figure out how to do more with what I already have!

I love pretty much everything on your inspiration board. Cute cute!! I'm loving wearing shorts with tights, riding boots and sweaters lately. And I'm really liking the classic black and white color combination. So yes, I also like black for winter- adds a little edge!
