The state fair. The last hoorah of summer before wonderful, wonderful fall is upon us! I love everything about the fair. Especially the desserts (deep fried Cookie Dough anyone?). But I think that's everyone. And the baby animals. That's good too..
We went with our friends this year, just like last year! And my goodness was the sunset amazing!!! Definitely my favorite part of the evening :)
That top photo is breathtaking! i feel like the state fair should buy it or something.

Oh wow! The fair looks like something out of a dream! I really want to go to one now, though I don't think the fairs in England are even half as spectacular as this, haha.

I literally can't think of anything better than a state fair! All the food, games, rides. Great pictures!

I loved that Bubble Tea sign; so bright and pretty. I didn't manage to see the baby ducks, though. :( Did you see the baby pygmy goats? They were adorable and cute and hopping around and eager to be petted and fed. And I'm kind of envious of that deep fried dessert ....

Whoa. Incredible photography - that sky...
I could really go for some corn on a cob right now. Thanks for the craving! Haha.

Bubble tea is my favorite! There is one right by the beach I frequent and we always have to make a stop. Looks like you had a good time!

I love the fair! We missed it this year because we had to move (sadface), so I'm definitely looking forward to it next year. These are all great photos, especially the top one. And you guys have bubble tea there?! I'm so jealous! I'd love for our fair to have a bubble tea stand...although I'd probably spend the whole day there, haha.

That sunset!! Violet - you are so darn talented. I could never capture a sunset like that. These photo are so sweet. It sounds and looks like such a fun time. Those baby ducks are just too sweet. I really want to chow down on some bad (and by bad I mean delicious) carnival food now, haha.

Gorgeouuuuuuus sky shots (as usual from YOU!). Bubble tea? Ewww.. that stuff always seemed like a glass full of floating booger balls! lol But to each her/his own! Looks like a fun/food-filled time!

I didn't get to try it. My friend Brittany got it and said it was interesting. She didn't seem impressed, but I loved how it looked!

BAHAHA ok, you went straight from those "baby ducks are sweet." to "I really want to chow down…" and I had to keep reading. BAHA. Startled me at first. You are so funny! But yes, carnival food is the best.

I never got a chance to try any. It looked cool, but I dunno. Exploding candy in my mouth sounded weird. I will have to try it sometime soon! HAHA!

That sunset picture and that last picture are just BRILLIANT! I'd no kidding buy these off you and hang them on our walls (if we had money right now! ugh). The fair is one of my favorite things in the world. Everything just feels so nostalgic and reminiscent of being a curious child, no matter how old I am every time I go back, and of course...I really go for the deep fried food.
