This was SUPER easy! Because I didn't include it in the images, I will mention that I "scalloped" the edges of the flowers first by stacking up like 3 or 4 filters, folding them and then cutting out a scalloped edge. Make sure that when you take the filters out of the water, you scrunch them then lay them as flats as you can to dry. I really enjoyed the crumpled effect once dried!
When you go to twist the ends onto the pipe cleaner, you will not need tape as the filter pretty much stays put. After every layer (this one was 3), I wrapped a little bit of the pipe cleaner around the base just to secure it better.
Other than that, everything else is pretty self explanatory! I have also heard of people dip-dying the tips different colors or staining the whole filter with some dye/paint and water. Enjoy and let me know if you try it!
Awh these are so cute, I'll have to have a shop around and try and find some coffee filters. :)

So pretty and girly and magical...I love them! And they seem so easy. These would be great to make as decorations for a themed party of some sort.

This is really really great. Your pictures are so clear and simple and not to mention, the flowers are gorgeous! I would love to see what it would look like if the tips of the flowers were dyed hot pink!

I love the coffee flowers. I'm going to make this for my mom's birthday. I think that using the coffee filters makes the paper flowers a lot more unique. Thanks for sharing this Violet.
