Valentine String Lights DIY

The only thing I would suggest doing differently than me was using white stringed lights. Mine were white lights, but the strings were green and I just think it looks funny. Unfortunately, this was all I had so I didn't buy different ones for this project. Let me know if you guys try it! I am interested to see someone hang it somewhere else besides the mantle :)

I think I saw something similar to this somewhere else on pinterest or something, but I am so glad you actually did this!! I wasn't sure how to go about making it actually happen. I want to try it in my apartment :]

Such a pretty idea! I have a big mantle and fireplace but I'm ashed to admit, I never decorate it :(
I need to start decorating for holidays more.

These ideas are super cute! I recently found a Valentines Day party ideas blog post (here for those who are wondering: http://blog.christmaslightsetc.com/2012/02/valentines-party-ideas-for-adults.html#more), and I think using this idea with some of their ideas would work really well for a group party for what I like to call "Singles Awareness Day" among my friends!
