I recently had the great honor of shooting a wedding in Southern Michigan with an awesome camp/DIY/woodsy theme. It was so beautiful and the bride really thought outside the box on a lot of things. One thing that stuck out in particular was the use of scrabble tiles throughout the decor of the wedding reception. Because the reception was held in a camp lodge with a lot of antique woodsy decor, this flowed perfectly! What a perfect way to label everything in the cutest way possible. And how simple/inexpensive it would be!?
It's something to think about when you or someone you know is beginining plans for their wedding day. Remember, there is always a cheaper alternative. You never realize that ordinary household items could make for timeless decor. You don't have to spend a lot or anything at all to show off elegant taste at your wedding. All you need is a little imagination ;)
Below are a few shots from the wedding and following are some other awesome weddings that used this idea as well. Enjoy!

And that typewriter decor is also a plus! It’s actually my first time seeing such a creative wedding… The couple is probably fond of playing scrabbles. It’s possible, right? They managed to integrate their hobby as a décor in their wedding. It’s cheaper, unique, and much more memorable for them and for the ones invited as well. :D
