I am a list girl. I email lists of things to myself ALL the time. Lists of songs to buy, lists of DIYs I find, to do lists, groups of images that inspire me, lists of recipes to try, etc. etc. etc.
If you got in my email you would see so many emails just from myself with random links, words, and quotes that I don't want to forget. It's pretty effective too! And it helps me out in remembering my posts for this blog. One check-list that has been on my mind is my late fall/winter checklist. During the winter, things slow down for me a bit. I still work a full time job, but due to no one wanting to face the fierce wind and cold that is Indiana weather during those months, my photography will drop. I don't exactly mind because I need a little break and some time to accomplish other projects that have been on my mind.
There are a lot of things I intend to get done in our house with decorating, painting and cleaning. I just NEVER have the time. I barely have the time to cook anymore. And that makes me sad. So to keep myself accountable, I will post my intentions for the next few months here. As I accomplish these goals, things will be crossed off and I will end up feeling a lot better. I always intend to finish so many projects during the winter, but if I don't have a list, it won't happen. So without further ado, here it is, in all it's glory:
- Read at least 2 books (I've missed this more than anything)
- Develop at least 4 rolls of film from Holga and Minolta
- Take an updated headshot for the blog
- Have a winter family picture taken of me, Grant and Marshmallow
- Accomplish and blog at least 10 DIY projects
- Buy my next wish list lens
- Finish furnishing our front living room
- Finish my epic 90s mix and get it on CD (I've been working on this 150+ playlist for 6 months now)
- Get turquoise in my hair
- Bake/cook at least 10 new recipes and blog them
- Update the blog layout
- Create and print new business cards
- Attend at least one concert
- Find a way to display Hipstamatic/Instagram prints
- Organize closet
- Lose 5 pounds
