I'm home from Scotland! It was such an overwhelming experience. SO much beauty and history...my camera could barely keep up with all the photos I'd taken. Needless to say, I have quite a few to share with you all. Quite a few of those photos were from our day exploring Edinburgh and seeing as how it was the warmest and least rainy day of our trip, I decided to snag a few pictures for an outfit post. I couldn't have asked for a better backdrop!
That day was warm and cold and freezing and sweltering hot all at once. I was either bundled up in layers or sweating wearing my tank top. Such a bizarre sensation to keep going back and forth temperature-wise. That being said, I was very thankful I chose to wear this floral crop top from ChicWish underneath my layers because it was the perfect cool, breezy top for those moments when the sun came out and I turned into a big sweat ball. Nothing against crop tops, it's just usually not my thing because I don't like to show my stomach at all and I don't always wear high waisted shorts or pants to make it work but this ensemble did work for me and it isn't a super short crop top. I paired it with some high waisted black jeans from H&M and I was extra comfy. I also wore the same top with a high waisted maxi skirt during our flight to Scotland and felt mega-comfy and soft. Love it!
We snagged these pictures while walking the Royal Mile, a garden area near Princes Street and at the top of a hill overlooking the city. Photographer's heaven...I miss you already Scotland. I hope it's not the last time I see you. <3
