My tiny Marshmallow got a BarkBox this week and I couldn't be more excited about all the goodies inside. With BarkBox, you sign up for a monthly surprise box based on your dog's breed/sex,etc. and receive a bunch of various fun things for your puppy! And part of the proceeds go to helpinig doggies in need which you can read more about HERE. She was SO excited. Especially about the treats! Haha!
My favorite item was the doggy perfume :P Cotton Candy scented...she can put it on before special occassions ;) She also got a tiny wool mouse toy that is too cute, rubber rain boots, an edible chew toy, a spiral treat, and a big bag of beef liver treats (her favorite).
She was having a particularly awful day today, so it was nice getting all these things out for her to play with and feast on. We were camping this past weekend and she had a nasty tick stuck to her back and I mean STUCK. This thing was a savage little beast and wasn't coming off without a fight. My husband finally got the piece of crap off of her. I felt so bad. She toughed it out, but I was very unhappy. BUT a stupid pincer broke off and is stuck in her skin. So I spent the morning trying to tweeze the thing out and applying alcohol. We called the vet and are still waiting to hear back. I've never dealt with this before? If anyone has any suggestions on getting this thing out, I'm all ears. I've heard that it's ok to leave it in as long as you keep rubbing alcohol on it, but I've also heard that it can cause an infection to leave it. So....I'm at a loss. We would end up cutting her if we tried to dig it out and I can't bare to do that. Ugh....
