My friend Brittany is so super talented. She and her sister Courtney made all of these awesome cupcakes for a Halloween themed baby shower this weekend! I think the candy corn and the pumpkin babies are my favorite.
While she was doing most of the work, I just helped make some little ghost cupcake toppers for a portion of the cupcakes inspired by Emma's post HERE. Here's how I did it...
What you need:
Napkins or thin white cloth
Thread (preferably white)
Scissors
Kabob picks or long tooth picks
Cotton Balls
This is so easy. Tear napkins into 4 square pieces (or cut out squares of fabric) and place a cotton ball in the very center. Now use your pick and spear through the middle of the cotton ball making sure that the ball is secured on the stick. Pull the napkin/cloth around the bottom of the cotton ball (like picture) and twist. Tie with string! Pretty self explanatory!
I ripped the bottom edges of mine to give it a more spooky look!
Don't those candy corn ones need to be in a magazine or on cupcake wars or something?!? SO cute! She is super talented in the kitchen :)
Have an awesome Monday everyone!
