So let me start by saying that this is NOT a recipe! Basically when I make cupcakes, I am lazy and only enjoy the decorating part...so it's a cake box mix for me! For this one I used a white cake box mix and added a half a teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor! I also stirred mini marshmallows into the batter!
Next I baked these suckers up and after letting them cool, I coated the top with marshmallow fluff. I immedately covered up the marshmallow fluff with white homemade buttercream frosting. This is something I will always make from scratch as I just HATE the premade frostings at the store. Seriously, I just won't eat them. >.<
I then embellished with more mini marshmallows and small blue dragees! I thoroughly enjoyed them and I think the mini marshmallows really moistened the cake up. It was a fun Mother's Day treat. Let me know if you try this or if you have a good cupcake recipe to share! I am always on the search for fun flavors!
P.S. I am majorly bummed right now. I had pictures of me going through the whole process of making these suckers and somehow, all of those images disappeared. I had the step-by-step image created and I deleted the rest of the pictures, but somehow the step-by-step for the blog disappeared too. Thankfully these are still here, but I apologize for the lack of pictures :(
