Have you ever turned a maxi skirt into a dress? I used to do it all the time when I was younger. I would get those hippy-esque floral/multi colored skirts that you see at the fair and wear them as a strapless dress with a belt. I thought myself SO creative ;P But here I go again, doing the same with this gorgeous swan cloud maxi skirt from ChicWish. Of course it is completely stunning as a skirt, but I decided to try wearing it a different way because I may or may not be using it for my halloween costume this year! *SPOILER ALERT* I'm going as Marshmallow. Now I just need some white mittens, white floppy ears, and a painted face. I love my dog.
It's such a dreamy skirt and really looks even better in person than it does in pictures. I want to use it for a photoshoot as well because it has such a light-airy look to it. Trying to decide a theme that would work best. But when I tied my waist off to turn it into a dress, it really had a vintage-casual wedding dress vibe. Give me tulle and petticoats forever. I just want to be covered in fluff. And of course this skirt/dress has such a fluffy look to it. I couldn't have picked out a better outfit to play Marshmallow. Big big thank you to ChicWish for kindly sending it my way. You never disappoint!
