This is a castle that resonated in my head whenever I thought of Scotland as a child. I even did an oil painting of it while I was in Junior High. But we weren't going to be staying anywhere near it during our trip so I didn't count on seeing it. But the one day we drove to the Isle of Skye for a day of sightseeing, it took us about an hour and a half away from our house and on our way back we stopped at the castle. I didn't even see it on our way there so when we saw it in the distance going back, I FLIPPED out. It was definitely a magical moment seeing it amongst all the clouds and fog on the Loch. It was by far the prettiest castle I saw and one of my favorite moments from the trip. Guys, I can't even remember how many times I cried during this trip.
My mom snapped a picture of me and Grant while we were here. I was such a happy girl.
